We all know the way life goes, we take on a lot, we move fast, and we want to get to the next most important thing. And in the middle of that, from time to time, a bit of civility greets us, and we notice it. Someone holds the door for us, they say thank you or acknowledge a sneeze. Someone is polite to someone else they do not know, we see someone drop something and we pick it up for them, or the proverbial opportunity to get up from our seat on the bus to give it to someone who needs it more than us. And while we can live without civility, the world is a better place when we are courteous, polite, and just good to each other. A bit of civility takes little effort but, for sure, it goes a long way, it does indeed.
Loving life when I see civility in action
