The journey, when done well, brings with it a level of predictability that feels right. The effort is aligned with the outcome and we “run the play” again and again with great results. And yet, there is more than a chance that something happens that we do not expect, that disrupts our flow, when our journey gets a bit bumpy. It is important to expect this, to plan for the unplanned, and to get our emotional engine ready for whatever comes our way. For the more we can take on the unpredictable and normalize it, the more we can roll with the disruption, and the more that we can accept that life will have “its moments”, the better our life will be. For it is in the perspective that we bring, our mindset, and our intention that gets us through the great times and the hard times, and for this we are fortunate because our journey and how it plays out, is for us to imagine, and embrace, and make it as we want it to be, yes indeed.
Loving life when I accept what the day sends my way
