The members of the THPL community have many similar attributes. We all like the idea of pushing hard to do better and we find satisfaction when we keep the THPL mission. And at the same time that we have similar mission and purpose we are all very different in how we pursue THPL and what we find when we do stay to the mission. There are some of us who can balance a jam-packed schedule and who live a mostly OCD life so that they can get in a workout or read another book. And then there are some of us who have similar purpose but find our way to the goal in a less aggressive way. Their THPL activities fit more organically into their lives and have a soft edge to them. They accomplish a lot even if it is in a different way. And what we realize, then, is that tweaking routines to fit into 15-minute increments in a time starved life is as impactful as a slow and steady Sunday morning. The common link is the purpose of the THPL mission – to press forward for improved performance and overall life fulfillment. How we get there can adjust, and should, the why and the purpose, though should not. Yes, substance over style. That is worth noting. Have fun being different – a different version of THPL.
Loving life while being different
