A short ten hours, from NY, on a Boeing 777, and I am in Sao Paolo, Brazil, THPL has arrived in the southern hemisphere and is at the beginning of another fantastic global journey. Spring is in the air and Brazil has a vibrant feeling to it There is a bustle on the streets and it is striking how normal it all feels. And as the Life part of THPL unfolds we get to see that indeed this is a world of people like us, who have the same interests and needs, who care about where they live and the things that they have. Each place with its own culture yet a strong sense of welcome and acceptance for when we visit. Ask a local what they recommend and they immediately start to share; treat your hosts with respect and the community opens their arms to visitors as if they were part of the family. Stop to appreciate the flora, fauna, the sites, the sounds, the people and the activities and we are well on our way to feeling right at home. What’s not to love – a great city (Sao Paulo), a great people, a great location – Life is guided by the soul and if THPL has learned anything it is by embracing where we are and who we are then the world as many say “is our oyster”.
