It is hard to put into words the feeling that comes from a day like today. The dream that has come alive, the challenge that feels equal to the dream and the community that has come together to make today happen. Running 26.2 miles, or 42 kilometers is never easy – it always hurts somewhat – just the nature of the distance. Today, it felt different – the time flew by – the end happening so quickly that it could not have taken just under four hours. And then it hits you – today the angels were with me – They came in the form of the people there to support the challenge, to cheer me on, to run with me, to be with me the whole way. What more could we ask for from our time on this planet – our friends, our community, even 10,000 miles away, pulling together, supporting each other, being there just because we care about each other and what is possible when we do just that. We can indeed do more than we think we can – the possibilities are endless and journey just amazing! Off to Singapore we go – number two just around the corner …..
