We should consider that the THPL habits that we form can turn into a well-worn path, a rut of sorts. It is easier to stay in the rut but that will not get us where we want THPL to bring us.  So how about making a list like this that we can use as our challenge list.  Our anti-rut list, we can have fun making it and even more fun living it!   

·      Stop getting up at 6:05…get up at 5:06 instead

·      Walk a mile at dawn

·      Find a new way to drive to work

·      Study wildflowers

·      Stay up alone all night

·      Read to the blind

·      Subscribe to a blog you would not ordinarily read

·      Learn to speak another language

·      Teach a kid the thing you do best

·      Listen to two hours of Mozart

·      Take up dancing

You get the idea - leap out of that rut, savor life, remember we do not get an extra day. Let's make the most of all that we have
