The month of March, as discussed earlier, is Women’s history month. It is noteworthy that half, 50.2%, of the U.S. population are female. Curious that a group of this size and potential is often working to be treated equally. We are fortunate that there are many who choose to make history every day regardless of obstacles, with little to no fanfare; “first’s” happening, glass ceilings being shattered, new roles being taken and so much more. We need to be supportive and recognize that equality is something that should not have to be fought for or earned. It is what we all should be enabled with so that we can have the same opportunity and possibility in our lives. So, let’s get it right, this is the least we can do.
