What works now

A good part of our journey is problem-solving and figuring out our path forward.  Over time, it is something that we get good at.  And the better we get at what works now, the more successful we become.  In this a trap, of sorts.  What we know today is great for today but might not be great for tomorrow.  And if our lives have told us anything to this point it is that change is ever-present, and the world around us, and the community we are part of keep making progress.  Therefore, we need to be able to adapt to how the world works today, not 20 years ago.  The good news is that with the pace of change and the opportunity for improvement, we can get better and better over time and enjoy our journey even if it is different than what we were used to.  An expansive and inquisitive mindset is congruent with what will make us productive along the way.  A good reminder and a good practice to embrace.

Loving life when I go beyond what worked before
